Update
Things are really flying along around here. CaRRaC is nearly finished with both the X-Wing and Speeder Bike code, the planetary navigational system is in, and ApocX is working on the new HUD and DM levels (he updated his .PP with a screenshot), and Matt is starting work on the basic Force system. On top of all of that, I even updated my .PP for the first time in months. [Red Knight]

Even More Nifty Stuff
Tim send along another batch of screenshots last night, and I absolutely had to post this one. Don't be expecting me to be so nice in the future though, we've got to maintain our "secretive bastards" reputation. [Red Knight]

More Nifty Stuff
Tim insisted that I post this shot he took of the Jawas in action. I knew you'd agree with him that it was the right decision :) [Red Knight]

Update
Avalanche passed on a few new screenshots of his in-development defense base level from Ionus IV, which you can see below. CaRRaC is hard at work on both the Jawa and X-Wing code, and the other coders will be receiving their assignments tonight. RajinBlade is continuing work on Ionus' spaceport, ApocX is doing texture work as always, but putting time into that awesome DM level as well. legion has returned from the void and will be experimenting with a few nifty AI ideas in regards to the Stormtroopers. GreyKnight is working on the Plett's Well level, NateDog is putting the finishing touches on the missile tube, and I'm in the process of animating the Imperial Guardsman. Now here's your daily dose of screenshot: [Red Knight]

One Last Position
One last position that needs to be filled on the team: we could use another skin artist to help pick up the slack, as Thump's computer seems to have fried on him. If you're interested, email me with a sample of your work. [Red Knight]

Another New Shot
Well, seeing as how we have a standing policy here not to give out any information regarding multiplayer SWQ, and also seeing as how I'm evil, here's a teaser shot from one of the new DM levels ApocX is working on. Oooh, you can almost picture lightsaber duels going on right now... [Red Knight]

New Member
I'd like to give a warm "Welcome Aboard"! To Grey Knight, our latest level designer. Here's two quick screenshots from the level he's currently working on: [Red Knight]

Coders STILL Needed
I know I'm being redundant in constantly posting this, but the lack of coders is reaching a serious point. We NEED some experience C coders, and we need them NOW. I want this TC out by Christmas. You want this TC out by Christmas. Well, guess what? If we don't get some good coders very soon, it isn't going to happen, and that's something none of us wants. So get out there and help us find some!! [Red Knight]

Alright Already!
Being driven to the point of near-insanity by the people on the B-Board, the Red Knight is here to tell you how it is:

There have been very few news updates because a) We're secretive bastards and want to surprise you, and b) We're spending all of our free time working on SWQ, and none of it updating the web site. Rest assured, when there's something really cool that needs posting (and I'm not making the team keep under wraps), we'll post it. Until such time, enjoy the posts we do make, and prepare yourself, because when this thing finally hits the FTP sites, it's going to kick some serious ass. Looking back on the work that's come out of this team this past month has exceeded even my expectations. Too bad you don't get to see most of it until the release :P

Some of you think we should update the news page more, and work to gain more "publicity" for the TC, even going so far as to have a "PR guy". We don't do this because a) Having to have everyone describe everything to this "news guy" would be just as bad as diverting time to update the web site, b) We don't really want a lot of publicity for the TC yet, because it's not finished and confusing a lot of people new to the project is not what we want, and finally c) When it's out, the TC will speak for itself. For example, here's the shot of the unskinned bowcaster that NateDog put together:

There, I updated. Now let us get back to work (this is directed at the BB folk :) [Red Knight]
