You'd think that if I'd learned anything over the last three years of working on this project, it would be to bite my tongue when anything which relates to a matter of time seeks to spring from it. Obviously, we have not yet released SWQ, but it is close. Most of the blame for the delay falls on my shoulders as in case you haven't noticed, I've been a little out of it of late. I still need to address some balancing issues with the project before I feel that it's ready for the public, but in all other areas the DM release of Star Wars Quake is ready to go. The team has certainly not been idle despite my absence and to prove it to you I've updated the media section with a few new shots. There you'll find some poses from the new player models which Privateer and Brad have been working on, a close-up of our hero's face to show the attention to detail which Privateer has been putting into those models, and a couple shots showing off Rip's experiments with area-based fog. Rest assured that we are moving forward, and I'll be sure to let you know when that long-anticipated day finally gets here. [ rk ]
